Frequently Asked Questions

How long does number porting take?
Simple ports (1–5 local numbers) typically complete in 3–7 business days after FOC date is set. Bulk ports and toll-free transfers may take 7–14 business days. Complex ports involving multiple carriers may take longer.
What do I need to start a port?
You will need a signed Letter of Authorization (LOA), your current carrier account number, and a recent phone bill showing the numbers to be ported. Our team will guide you through the process.
Can I port toll-free numbers?
Yes. We provide full RESPORG services for toll-free number transfers. The process involves coordinating with the current RespOrg to transfer the toll-free number to our RESPORG ID.
Will there be any downtime during the port?
We coordinate closely with carriers to minimize downtime during cutover. For most ports, the transition is seamless with less than 1 minute of potential downtime during the final switchover.
